Emails
An Email stands for Electronic Mail, it is an electronic message that can include a message and/or attachments, and it allows the sender to send a single email to multiple people.
There isn’t a timeframe on when it can be opened.
It allows files to be attached. 
It requires internet to send the email.
The recipient must have an email and internet.
Presentations
Presentations allow the speaker to display their message to their audience.
It allows the audience to read the main points of what the speaker is saying.
It can distract the audience from what the speaker is saying.
Web Pages
A webpage is a page on the internet that displays information via a web browser.
A web page can display information to a wide variety of people; it means that people can share information with each other without the need for any physical contact which means it is idea for sharing information with people who are a long distance away.
It requires an internet connection. Anyone is allowed to view it, including unwanted people.
Video Conferencing
Video conferencing is a communication between 2 or more parties that involves a webcam, microphone and speakers/headphones.
It allows people to communicate over a long distance.
Conversations can be had over a long distance as appose to calling someone which would cost considerably more money. It also allows the users to see and hear each other.
It requires an internet connection and a webcam, microphone and speakers.
Word Processed Documents
A word processed document is text that has been written on a text editor like Word or Notepad. It is mainly text but pictures can be added.
It allows customization of the text (i.e Bold, Underlined, Coloured, and Highlighted). It does not require an internet connection to use or read.
If the document is not saved then any unsaved changes will be lost.
Podcasts
A podcast is a video that is available for download from the internet. It is then playable whenever.
They’re downloadable so having an internet connection is only required to download them, you can watch them without one.
An internet connection is required to download them.
Blogs
A blog is an online multi-media log that allows the user to share media such as pictures, videos and text.
It allows the user to share multi-media with other users.
It requires an internet connection.
For people to read your blog they must have an internet connection and a computer, this limits your audience to 39% of the world.
Vlogs
Vlog stands for Video Log; it is a log of recent events recorded by an individual via the video format. It is used to showcase interesting events in that individuals life.
It allows the uploader to showcase their life to the public.
It requires an internet connection and a computer. They must also have speakers or headphones to listen to the vlog.
SMS
SMS is Short Messaging Service and sends messages from one mobile phone to another.
You can send instant messages to someone, providing you both have mobile phones and signal.
It allows instant communication.
Both parties must have a mobile phone and signal to send and receive the SMS’s.
